This novel was so readable, with interesting characters and a compelling story. Unique and heart-warming, multi faceted and a very real experience in Pittsburgh in the 1960's.
There is nothing about this book that I don't love. It is beautifully written and flawlessly structured, with characters and settings so intimately drawn that I am nostalgic for them.
This was a really good read. I love baseball books but this one was way more than that.
